A German student invented a camera based on a toy gun – a camera lens is hidden in a barrel.

The ‘gun-camera’ can be easily hidden in your pocket, it fits well to your hand and its viewer free so you can take your photos spontaneously, wherever you are. Just like with a regular gun, a backsight and a foresight are used to aim and a trigger is used to prompt the shutter. The project is named ‘Animat’ and it has many potential applications. For example, you can arrange a street battle between people equipped with camera guns. The shooter with the largest amount of interesting photos will become the winner.
